DEFENSIVE DRIVING ONLINE COURSE (6 Hours)

The Texas Driving Safety or Ticket Dismissal Program is designed for ticket dismissal or court-ordered driver education. This quick and easy online program will satisfy state and or insurance requirements.

Teen Driving Lessons (14 Hours)

  • Now that you have your driving permit in your hands, you can register for the mandotary 14 hours of in-car driving lessons at Pioneer.
  • Also, you can start your mandatory 30 hours of driving lessons with your parents.
  • 7 In-car driving lessons (14-hours)
  • Each lesson is 2 hours long (1 hour driving and 1 hour of backseat observation)

TEEN ONLINE SELF-PACED COURSE (32 HOURS

  • After completing the student’s registration, the student must check their personal email.
  • Student will receive an email from Pass Drivers Ed. Reply to that email with your username and password. Pass Drivers Ed will email the student another email with the link to the course. Always return to that link when taking this course.
  • Students can only complete 2 hours of the online course each day.
  • Students have 90 days to complete the entire course.
  • After completing the first six hours of the course, you’re authorized to take the DPS written test (aka Permit Test). There’s no charge to take the Permit Test. It’s free!.
  • After passing the Permit Test, click on the blue box “Get Certificate” and download the DE-964 form (aka – permit certificate). You will take the DE-964 certificate to your DLO appointment.
  • MANDATORY: While waiting for your appointment date at the DLO, return to your online course. You must complete the remaining 26 hours of the 32-hour course and pass the End Of Course exam.
